Mail Automation Demonstration: Step Two - BATCH CASS Certification DPV Validation

The mailing list used for this demonstration had never been CASS certified. For the demo, the list was CASS certified and DPV delivery point validated in batch before capturing this screen image. Mailing lists that have not been CASS certified before usually result in 90% or more CASS certified USPS POSTNET barcoded addresses. Puerto Rican addresses tend to be 70% plus. Initial CASS certification of the sample list is 83%.

Mailing List Status Columns

• AMS 1206 - Month and year of the USPS AMS-II data version (December `06)
• First 1 - Record number where the import began
• Count 5550 - Number of list records
• Coded 4616 - Number of CASS certified POSTNET barcoded addresses in the list
• HExact 1901 - Number of high-rise addresses where the building unit number was CASS valid
• HDeflt 409 - Number of high-rise addresses where the building unit number was not CASS valid
• RExact 239 - Number of rural route addresses where the box number was CASS valid
• RDeflt 0 - Number of rural route addresses where the box number was not CASS valid
• DPV 4616 - Number of CASS certified addresses that were DPV delivery point valid
• EWS 0 - Number of addresses matching USPS Early Warning System alerts
• Impdate - Date the mailing list was imported
