Postal Street Alias Lookup - List Button

The painter postal address lookup street tab displays the "Check Alias" command button as soon as a street clue exists.

The slide shows the USPS street alias list using the postal street clue "C%" for "MONTGOMERY AL". The last two rows in the window report that the postal street alias, "CLEVELAND AVE", is known by the postal service as "ROSA L PARKS AVE" in ZIP-codes "36105" and "36108".

Street Alias Lookup Window

The column with the red 'R' label, when marked with an ‘X’, indicates that the alias has number ranges. Ranged aliases limit street door numbers where the suggested street name should be considered. Clicking the row will display the effective range and an odd, even or both indicator for ranged alias records in the message field at the bottom of the window.
