Mailing List Import / Export
Mailroom projects can have any number of mailing lists. Mailing lists are imported and exported from fixed-field or delimited-field files. Address management, presort preparation, CASS™ standardization and DPV® is performed on mailing lists.
Step One - Import List
Mailing list processing starts by importing addresses using the control block below.
Once an existing mailing list has been selected or a new mailing list imported, the LISTS tab assumes the mailing list's name. New mailing lists must have initial CASS standardization and DPV confirmation before any other action can be taken.
Mailing list operations include:
- Import List - Creates a new mailing list by reading an external file
- Add to List - Adds addresses to an existing mailing list
- Export List - Creates an external file from a project's mailing list
- Export Plus - "Export List" using User-defined Selection Criterion to filter addresses
- Import PAVE™ - Imports a list of ZIP™ codes and carrier routes for bulk mail presort preparation
