Introducing the Prototype

The Windows prototype simulates how existing applications can validate address data as it is acquired. The prototype is started by Start → Programs → AES → TestClient. The prototype works with both Linux and Windows Mail*SERVE servers. Prototype sources are discussed and published in the Integration Tutorial.

The upper block represents the address field features common to most applications. Lower block features are not required and are provided for clarity of process events.

API 1

Address Validation Request

The "Submit" icon is a command button that initiates the address validation service.

Existing Applications

In practice, the event of navigating out of the address data area can trigger address validation eliminating the need for an explicit command or button.
